An over-the-counter veterinary medicine for dogs used to treat mixed infections of adult tapeworms and roundworms. Can also be used preventively against tropical heartworm when concurrent treatment for tapeworms is required.
Treats several types of worm infections in dogs in tablet form. The product contains a combination of milbemycin oxime and praziquantel and is dosed according to the dog's weight.
Each tablet for dogs contains milbemycin oxime 12.5 mg and praziquantel 125 mg. Excipients are microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, povidone, lactose monohydrate, anhydrous colloidal silica, and magnesium stearate. The package contains 4 tablets.
Always read the package leaflet carefully before use. The dosage for dogs is 1 tablet for 5–25 kg body weight, 2 tablets for over 25–50 kg, and 3 tablets for over 50–75 kg. Consult a veterinarian, pharmacy, or the Medicines Information Service if you are unsure how to use the medicine.
